Associate Pastor Al Frank – wife, Terri

Al came on staff in August 2019 and is really a partner with Pastor Mark in leading a growing ministry. His passion and key ministry directive is equipping men and women to be disciples who influence others to be disciples!

Pastor Alan Andrew Frank grew up in High Ridge, Missouri (about 30 miles south of St. Louis). Al’s first career was as a TV news and documentary producer/writer in the St. Louis market for ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates. He received 31 Regional Emmys, a Silver Medal at the New York Film Festival and the International Iris Award, among other honors. Along the way, the Lord used the life witness of his friends and family to point him to his own desperate need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Al’s change from skeptical journalist to committed believer led him into full time vocational ministry.

He left his journalism career to become an ordained Evangelical Free Church Pastor.  He graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and served as a pastor at Calvary Church (EFCA) in St. Peters, MO for 13 years.  He was a church planter for the “Calvary Connections Campus” (a multi-racial congregation) and served as the preaching/teaching pastor for two different congregations in two different cultural contexts each weekend.  In 2012, the Central District Board of Directors called Al to become the Regional Associate Superintendent and Church Planting Missionary.

Al enjoys discipling, hiking, biking, reading & writing.  His fantasy football team, “Frank’s Tanks,” is tough to beat!
