Relevant, life-application teaching from God's Word along with inspiring music featuring the best of the traditional hymns blended with some of the most-loved contemporary praise songs and choruses. There are currently two adult Sunday School topic options each week: "Revelation" (this Bible book is not as hard to learn from as many think - and it is exciting to know who ultimately wins!) and "The Life and Ministry of Christ" (there's more to Him than a baby born in Bethlehem who dies on a cross in Jersusalem).

Volunteers greet people who come each week needing food, personal and household items. The church receives donations from its members, other individuals, churches, community groups and businesses. In addition, the church purchases food pantry stock at a discount from the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. An important part of this ministry is praying with all those who come seeking assistance. And everyone who comes for help, receives help.

Folks around here like to describe our fellowship suppers as "POT BLESS". It's not "luck" that we have what have with plenty to share with others - we're blessed! Simply a group of mothers who pray for their families and encourage one another. Location: Conference Room.

Open to anyone in need, the Oasis Food Pantry provides groceries and other items to help people make ends meet. Prayer from one of our compassionate and caring volunteers is always offered. The Food Pantry is open from 10:00am-1:00pm each Wednesday.

Usually a pot-luck (though folks around here call it "pot-bless" because we're blessed, not lucky) ...people who are able bring a generous dish to share and we enjoy good fellowship around good food! Sometimes we have a "theme night" (pasta, soup and salad, hamburgers and hot dogs) - but it's always good and there's always plenty to go around. Come and join in!

Typically we enjoy a brief devotional, some singing and a time of intercessory prayer. Occasionaly, we have a visiting missionary or a hands-on mission project. This is for the whole family. It's informal and interactive.

This monthly breakfast features terrific food prepared by some very talented men in the church as well as a devotional time or testimony by one of the guys. Sometimes there is a small work project to do artound the church or for a needy individual or family. Newcomers always welcome. It's great food and fellowship for guys. We usually pitch in a few bucks each to cover the cost of the meal, but first-timers eat free!

Our annual all-church fish fry. It's at the home of Don and Anni Eighmey. Fresh, locally caught pan fish, breaded and fried along with side dishes brought by those attending. It's a wonderful picnic! NOTE: this is a change from the previously promoted date of Saturday, May 16, due to anticipated wet weather.

Tonight's meal features grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and baked beans instead of our regular potluck. There is a sign up sheet at church to bring salads and desserts. There will be a free-will offering.

It's time for our annual CHRISTMAS PROGRAM and FELLOWSHIP! There's drama and music and - of course - the real meaning of Christmas! Following the program there's a dessert fellowship! No charge - no tickets - just come "all ye faithfull"!

A first this year for VBEFC! We are hosting a Christmas Eve worship service at 4:00pm, open to the public, at the beautiful Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel located here in Bella Vista near the church at Town Center. The service will feature familiar carols, special instrumental and vocal music and an inspiring message. Meeting on the 3rd Saturday each month for a terrific homemade, hot breakfast, we also enjoy the fellowship. Often times, one of the guys will "tell his story" - his family, his work, his faith... And sometimes there's projects to do around the church or we're helping out someone in the church family.

This is a women's fellowship event held at the church and open to all women and their guests. This month's theme is "A 'mere' Mirror Heart" presented by Ane Burke. Ane is actively involved with the church and her community...Rotary International, Project Lifesaver, Meth Task Force, Women's Jail Ministry. Ane is administrator of an assisted living facility in Bella Vista.

She will share how the Lord has turned her "mere" life (heart) of brokeness and feelings of unworthiness into a life of total forgiveness and amazing grace, filling her heart with the joy of being set free! In addition to all this, you will enjoy great muffins, coffee and tea!

There is no charge but a free-will offering will be received.

This special fellowship dinner is being held at the Metfield Neighborhood Grill (1 Euston Rd, Bella Vista) at 6:00pm.

This dinner out is open to everyone. We're celebrating what love is really all about - our relationships with one another and with God.

Instead of simply a "couples only" Valentines Day event, everyone is invited to enjoy the food and fellowship.

To encourage the single women in church to come and as a way of sharing their love and compassion, our Men's Breakfast Ministry has "sponsorships" for any of our widowed, divorced and otherwise not married adult ladies. (They simply need to sign up - but not pay!)

Cost for everyone else is $11.00 which is totally inclusive. The menu will include: dinner salad, pork loin and/baked chicken, baby red potatoes, vegentable, dessert and beverage.

This is once a month fellowship breakfast and this month we're meeting and eating at the Bella Vista Country Club just off Cooper Rd and Lancashire (340). Ordering is off the menu and everything is good! Just another opportunity for fellowship and getting better acquainted.

Lots of church folks will go to various homes for dinner and fellowship but will not know with whom they're sharing dinner until they all arrive? What fun!

Great homemade breakfast with the guys and a brief, but inspiring devotional or life story is shared. Freewill offering covers breakfast. No reservations required. Guests always welcome. First-timers get free breakfast!

Held at the church in the Conference Room, this is simply a prayer time open to women who value prayer and need prayer. The women interceede for and encourage one another. All are welcome!

A Women's Ministry event open to the public. Along with terrfic muffins, tea and coffee, enjoy wonderful fellowship and this month's speaker, Mary Dohlman whose presentation is titled, "You Want Me to Go Where?" You might be surprized to learn where God wanted Mary to go and what He wanted her to do. There is no cost for this event.

Folks from church serve as hosts for guests who come to their home for food and fellowship. The food responsibilities are shared by hosts and guests. The hosts know how many are coming and what their guests are bring - but they don't know who their guests will be until they arrive for dinner! Likewise, though the guests know who their host will be, they don't know the identities of others with whom they'll be dining until all have arrived! It's fun! Men of all ages - church members and guests...enjoy an outstanding homemade breakfast (freewill offering), some terrfic fellowship and inspiring, encouraging, (but brief) content that will feed your soul. We start promptly at 7:00am and we're done by 8:00am so we can get home and do our chores or take in some fishing golf.
